Desserts are not what Chinese cuisine is best known for. However, at the forbidden city, our pastry team have worked hard to put together desserts that pay homage to particular regions of China. The pineapple is slow cooked with a chilli infused sugar syrup before being barbecued. The yoghurt is chefs homage to the street yoghurt sold on street corners of Beijing and the sichuan pepper ice cream is there to mellow out the chilli hit. Passing by after a night out? drop by for a dessert and a cocktail before you call it a night!

Don’t forget about our current ‘£10 dim sum and Champagne’ promotion. Pairing foods and beverages is what excites us in the bar and we want as many people to try it, especially in the lead up to Christmas.
